The microprocessor-controlled SPOTTER 9900 welding machine has been designed for sheet metal processing:
- In the form of one-sided welding,
- Extraction (by welding elements of various shapes),
- Cutting and heating with a carbon electrode.
The welder has the memory of the last settings, the pulse function necessary for welding galvanized sheets and the function of welding HSS sheets.
The touch-sensitive LCD graphic display allows you to select one of 10 operating modes with their adjustment in an intuitive way:
- Welding parameters (time, current, type of pulse)
- Selectable material to be welded: carbon steel / galvanized / stainless steel
- Selective selection of the thickness of the welded material (0.6mm / 0.8mm / 1.0mm / 1.2mm / 1.5mm / 2.0mm / 3.0mm / 4.0mm)
- Welder temperature indicator
Adjustment of operating parameters can be done in parallel on the touch screen or with buttons on the front panel. There is also a compressed air pressure indicator on the front panel.
The welding machine is widely used both in workshops that perform professional sheet metal repairs for the automotive industry and in industry.

MODES OF OPERATION:
01 Welding round washers electrode + welded element - current regulation: 30-100%.
02 Welding the washers - time adjustment: 0-9900 ms triangular striker with a handle + triangular washer
03 Welding the corrugated wire electrode + corrugated wire.
04 One-sided electrode welding of sheet metal.
05 Welding the sheets with the electrode overlap - current regulation 30-100, no time adjustment - the word FFF on the display - the time depends only on the time the trigger of the gun is pressed).
06 Upset-heating tempering carbon electrode holder + carbon electrode.

LEVEL OF SECURITY
The IP defines the degree to which the device is resistant to the ingress of solid and water contaminants. IP21 means that the device is adapted to work in closed rooms.
HEATING THE ENDS
Operation mode (1/7/10) attaching the end of the mass cable to the material to be welded on the control panel, select the appropriate mode icon and then set the operating parameters.
Place the gun in the selected place and press the trigger to weld the tip. Repair the surface using a drift punch with a hook or other tool (e.g. Quick-puller). After the repair, rotate the drift with the hook approx. 90 ° to break off the washer.
ONE-SIDED SHEET WELDING
Mode of operation (4) attaching the end of the workpiece lead to the material to be welded, use the mounting key to place the electrode for one-side welding. On the control panel, select the mode and then set the operating parameters.
In the case of squeezing unevenness resulting from the removal of the sheet metal in the gun, place the electrode for squeezing unevenness in the gun, then select (8) on the panel, then set the operating parameters and start welding as above. The welding time is for the time the gun trigger is squeezed.
WELDING OF THE CORRUGATED WIRE
Mode of operation (3) attaching the end of the workpiece lead to the material to be welded, use the mounting key to place the electrode for the corrugated wire in the gun. Select the mode on the panel and then set the parameters for heating the wire.
Place the gun in the recess of the corrugated wire and press the electrode against the wire at an angle of 90 °. Press the gun trigger to heat the wire to the surface. Then repair the surface using a comb or a drift punch with a hook. After repair, remove the wire from the surface.
CRUSHING-WARM-UP-LOWERING
Mode of operation (6) attaching the end of the return cable to the material to be welded, place the holder for the carbon electrode and the carbon electrode in the gun. On the panel, select the mode and set the operating parameters. The welding time is for the time the gun trigger is squeezed.
Touch the end of the carbon electrode and trigger the gun. When finished, cool the surface with wet cloth or compressed air. The heated surface returns to its original position as it collapses (upsetting). In the case of cutting the material, proceed as above except for holding the electrode vertically at the cut.
WORK WITH A PUNCH WITH A VACUUM PNEUMATIC SUCTION CUP
We can also use a punch with a pneumatic vacuum suction cup to extract the sheet metal. To do this, connect compressed air to the punch with a vacuum suction cup, apply it to the repair surface and unscrew the valve located on the punch. Using a punch, pull off the material. After finishing the machining, turn off the ball valve.
DOUBLE-SIDED WELDING WITH TICKS WITH A PNEUMATIC CLAMP
The force setting of the forceps should be regulated with the knob on the front panel (6). The knob is protected against accidental change of value.
The compressed air pressure should be set in the range between 6 and 8 bar, depending on the clamping force we want to obtain: lower pressure - lower clamping force, higher pressure - higher clamping force.
Press the green button closer on the tongs to clamp the electrodes on the parts to be welded, then press the second green button further away to weld. After welding, the tongs spontaneously move away from the welded elements.
