ARC 230 inverter welder for welding with coated electrodes with direct current (DC).
If you are one of those people who like proven and reliable products, be sure to read the following description of the ARC 230 inverter welding machine for welding with direct current electrodes (DC).
It is designed for welding with rutile and basic electrodes up to 5 mm of various grades of steel (low-carbon, low-alloy, stainless, etc.) and cast iron.
The ARC 230 welder has a digital display of the welding current, equipped with a simple lamp system.
Front panel LEDs indicate connection to power (green LED) or overload shutdown (red LED).
During work, we will also certainly need an electronically controlled smooth regulation of the welding current and special protection of the equipment against overload.
The small and lightweight design makes the ARC 230 inverter welder for welding with coated electrodes with direct current (DC) applicable in repair work in workshop conditions as well as in field work. Transport is facilitated by equipping the welder with a solid shoulder strap.

WORK CYCLE
The duty cycle is based on a 10-minute period. 60% duty cycle means that after 6 minutes of operation, a 4-minute break is required. 100% duty cycle means that the device can work continuously without interruption.
HOT START FUNCTION
The HOT START function is commonly known as hot start. It works when the arc is struck, causing the welding current to temporarily increase above the value set by the welder. HOT START is designed to prevent the electrode from sticking to the material and is a great help when starting the arc.
ANTI STICK FUNCTION
The ANTI STICK function is a short-circuit protection that reduces the welding current in case the electrode sticks to the workpiece. This makes it easier to detach and protects the device against damage.
ARC FORCE FUNCTION
ARC FORCE (arc dynamics): shortens the arc length when increasing the welding current, optimizing the transfer of the molten electrode drop to the workpiece, preventing the arc quenching when the electrode comes into contact with the workpiece.
IGBT TECHNOLOGY
Modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an insulated gate. It combines the ease of control of field effect transistors with high breakdown voltage and the switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology significantly extends the reliable operation of welding equipment.
TIG WELDING
The ARC 230 inverter welder can weld using the TIG method after connecting a torch with a gas valve. Touch ignition of the welding arc as a result of rubbing the tungsten electrode against the welded material (TIG Scratch).
WARNING! The torch is not a standard equipment of the welding machine.
