The Welder Fantasy TWINMIG2 multifunctional device is designed for manual arc welding in the method of:
GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) - MIG/MAG
Welding with self-shielded FCAW wire (without gas shield)
MMA (Manual Metal Arc Welding) covered electrode
TIG LIFT (arc ignition occurs when the electrode comes into contact with the welded element).
The semi-automatic welding machine is the most modern welding device on the market, designed for welding materials such as: carbon steels, alloy steels (stainless, acid-resistant), as well as aluminum alloys. Properly selected welding inductance contributes to reducing the amount of spatter.
Intuitive, easy-to-use control panel allows you to quickly set all the most important welding parameters. Thanks to synergic settings, it is possible to automatically select welding parameters.
The device has a smooth regulation of voltage and welding current and is equipped with an overload thermal protection system to protect against excessive heating of integrated circuits.
In order to increase the comfort of work and reduce the noise level, the fan turns on automatically instead of operating continuously when the device is turned on.
Thanks to the polarity reversal cable, welding without shielding gas is possible. Thanks to the IGBT transistors used, the device has an efficiency of 60% and is characterized by low weight and failure-free operation.

IGBT TECHNOLOGY
Modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an insulated gate. It combines the ease of control of field effect transistors with the high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology significantly extends the reliable operation of welding equipment.
OVERHEAT PROTECTION
The IGBT module is protected against overheating by a protective installation that disables the welding circuit of the device. After a few minutes, the welder cools down to a temperature that allows it to restart automatically.
Do not disconnect the power during this time, as the continuously operating fan cools the internal heat sinks of the device in order to lower the temperature faster.
After restarting, remember to limit the welding parameters in order to continue continuous operation of the device.
WORK CYCLE
The duty cycle is based on a 10-minute period. A duty cycle of 60% means that after 6 minutes of operation, a 4-minute break is required. 100% duty cycle means that the device can work continuously without interruption.
LEVEL OF SECURITY
IP defines the degree to which the device is resistant to the penetration of solid and water contaminants. IP21S means that the device is adapted to work in closed rooms
MIG/MAG
Arc welding in gas shields is one of the most commonly used processes for the production of welded structures. The semi-automatic welding process consists in fusing the edges of the welded object and the consumable electrode material with the heat of an electric arc glowing between the electrode in the form of a solid wire and the welded detail, in an inert or active gas shield.
FCAW - WELDING WITHOUT GAS
Thanks to the polarity reversal function, it is possible to weld without shielding gas with FCAW self-shielding wire. It is a method using a self-shielding cored wire for welding (in all positions) steels with normal and increased strength, not exceeding 510 MPa.
MMA DC+
The arc is ignited by touching the tip of the electrode to the workpiece. MMA DC+ means welding with positive polarity - more heat is generated in the material and less in the electrode.
MMA DC
The difference between MMA DC+ is that the polarity in MMA DC - mode is negative, so the heat distribution is reversed - more heat is generated at the electrode and less in the work piece.
ARC FORCE
Increasing or decreasing the length of the welding arc depending on the distance between the electrode and the material being welded. Allows you to adjust the dynamics of the welding arc. Shortening the arc length is accompanied by an increase in the welding current, which stabilizes the arc.
HOT START
The function is designed to prevent the electrode from sticking to the material and is a great help when striking the arc. It works when the arc is struck, causing a temporary increase in the welding current above the value set by the welder.
VRD
The VRD function lowers the no-load voltage. The correct voltage value is only restored just before the arc is struck. This minimizes the risk of electric shock, but in some cases it may make it difficult to strike the arc.
INDUCTION ADJUSTMENT
Inductance adjustment allows you to optimize the arc characteristics depending on the thickness of the welded element and the welding method and conditions. The function is useful during MIG/MAG welding of thin elements, preventing their burn-through, and during braze welding of galvanized elements.
Changing the inductance value also reduces the amount of welding spatter during welding in a CO2 shield. The higher the value of the inductance (+) the less spatter, when the value is negative (-), the greater the amount of spatter. The optimal setting of the inductance value depends on several factors and may differ from the standard recommendations, so it should be selected experimentally during welding tests.
SYNERGY
MIG/MAG welding with synergic settings. The device selects the welding parameters depending on the selected type and thickness of the material.
These parameters can be changed by the user in order to adjust the settings to their own needs. Many programs have been prepared for synergic welding.
2 ROLL WIRE FEEDER
Professional feeder made of aluminum pressure castings, has a powerful motor that allows for stable wire feeding without jamming. It is equipped with 2 drive rollers.
2T/4T
2T - Pressing the welding torch button will pre-flow the gas, then ignite the arc and start welding. When the button is released, the arc will extinguish and the gas will flow.
4T - Pressing and releasing the welding torch button will pre-flow the gas, then ignite the arc and start welding. When the button is pressed and released again, the arc will be extinguished and the gas will flow.
EUROCONNECTOR
Standard welding torch connection that allows you to connect various types of torches (e.g. prepared for aluminum welding by replacing the Teflon insert and contact tip).
EASY TO USE, CLEAR CONTROL PANEL:
The easy-to-use control panel enables precise and smooth adjustment of parameters. The digital display shows the actual welding current.
STRONG AND SOLID CONSTRUCTION
The housing of the device is made of light and durable composites, resistant to all kinds of mechanical damage.
EASY TRANSPORT
Equipping the welding machine with a transport handle ensuring comfort when changing workplaces.
TIG DC LIFT
Welding with a tungsten electrode in an inert gas shield using a torch with a gas valve in the handle. The arc is struck by rubbing, similarly to the MMA method.
INSULATION CLASS F
Type of insulating materials used, informing about the maximum operating temperature of the transformer. Exceeding it during continuous operation shortens the lifetime and time of failure-free operation of the transformer. For class F 155°C.
COOLING
The device has a fan cooling system, which significantly increases its efficiency.
