The Welder Fantasy TWINMIG 200-IG multifunction device is designed for manual arc welding in the following method:
- GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) - MIG / MAG ,
- welding with FCAW self -shielding wire (without gas shield)
- covered electrode MMA ( Manual Metal Arc Welding).
The TWINMIG 200-IG semi-automatic welding machine is the most modern welding device on the Polish market, designed for welding materials such as: carbon steels, alloy steels (stainless, acid-resistant) and aluminum alloys.
The welder has:
- smooth adjustment of the welding current,
- smooth regulation of the wire feed speed,
- regulation of inductance,
- Arc voltage LCD displays
- overload thermal protection system to prevent overheating.
Thanks to the IGBT transistors used, the device has an efficiency of 60% and is characterized by low weight and failure-free operation.
IGBT TECHNOLOGY
Modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an insulated gate. It combines the ease of control of field effect transistors with a high breakdown voltage and the switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology significantly extends the reliable operation of welding equipment.
PROTECTION AGAINST OVERHEATING
The IGBT module is protected against overheating by a protective system that switches off the machine's welding circuit. After a few minutes, the welding machine cools down to a temperature that allows it to be turned on again automatically.
Do not disconnect the power supply during this time, because the continuously operating fan cools the internal heat sinks of the device in order to reduce the temperature faster.
After restarting, remember to limit welding parameters for further continuous operation of the device.
WORK CYCLE
The duty cycle is based on a 10-minute period. 60% duty cycle means that after 6 minutes of operation, a 4-minute break is required. Duty cycle of 100% means that the device can work continuously without interruption.
LEVEL OF SECURITY
The IP defines the degree to which the device is resistant to the ingress of solid and water contaminants. IP21 means that the device is adapted to work in closed rooms.
MIG / MAG
Gas-shielded arc welding is one of the most commonly used processes for the production of welded structures. The semi-automatic welding process consists in fusing the edges of the workpiece and the material of the consumable electrode by the heat of an electric arc glowing between the electrode in the form of a solid wire and the workpiece being welded, in an inert or active gas shield.
FCAW
Thanks to the polarity reversal function, it is possible to weld without shielding gas with FCAW self-shielding wire. It is a method with the use of a self-shielding flux-cored wire for welding (in all positions) steel of normal and increased strength, not exceeding 510 MPa.
MMA DC +
The arc is struck by touching the tip of the electrode to the welded material. MMA DC + means welding with positive polarity - more heat is generated in the material and less heat is generated in the electrode.
MMA DC
The difference between MMA DC + is that the polarity in the MMA DC - mode is negative, so the heat distribution is opposite - more heat is released on the electrode and less heat is generated in the welded material.
REGULATION OF INDUCTION
Adjusting the inductance allows you to optimize the arc characteristics depending on the thickness of the workpiece and the welding method and conditions. This function is useful during MIG / MAG welding of thin elements, preventing them from burning out and during brazing of galvanized elements.
Changing the inductance value also reduces the amount of welding spatter during welding in a CO2 shield. The greater the inductance value (+), the number of spattering decreases, while the value is negative (-), the amount of spattering increases. The optimal setting of the inductance value depends on several factors and may differ from the standard recommendations, therefore it should be selected experimentally during welding tests.
EASY TO USE, CLEAR CONTROL PANEL:
The easy-to-use control panel enables precise and smooth adjustment of parameters. The digital display shows the actual current during welding.
2 ROLL WIRE FEED
Professional feeder made of die-cast aluminum, has a powerful motor that allows for stable wire feeding without jamming. It is equipped with 2 drive rollers.
It is designed for heavy duty work and longer handles than plastic feeders that cannot handle 4 or 5 meter handles.
COOLING
The device has a fan cooling system, which significantly increases its efficiency.
