Description
WELDER FANTASY MEGA TIG 400 DC
| Brand: Welder Fantasy | Welding methods: TIG DC, MMA | Power supply: 400V | Welding current: 400A | Efficiency: 60% |
STANDARD EQUIPMENT
- Welder Fantasy MEGA TIG 400 DC welding machine,
- TIG ARC T5W torch 4 meters
- mass holder 3m,
- 3m electrode holder,
- user manual in Polish and warranty card
The device enables welding with the following methods:
- TIG DC lift-arc - In the TIG method, the electric arc is struck in an inert gas (argon) shield between the welded element and a non-consumable electrode made of pure tungsten or tungsten with additives.
- TIG DC HF - In order to completely eliminate the possibility of contamination of the weld with tungsten, it is recommended that the electrode does not touch the workpiece; this is what contactless arc ignition is used for
- TIG DC PULS lift-arc - the arc is struck by contact of the electrode with the material being welded, the pulse function allows you to weld thin elements by periodically changing the current intensity.
- TIG DC PULS HF - non-contact HF ignition using an ionizer in the TIG DC PULS mode
- MMA DC + - The MMA method uses a coated electrode, consisting of a metal core covered with a sheath.
- MMA DC- - the difference between MMA DC + is that the polarity in MMA DC - mode is negative, so the heat distribution is opposite - more heat is generated on the electrode and less heat is generated in the welded material.
- MMA VRD DC + - available in MMA DC + mode, VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) function - a module reducing the idle voltage of the secondary circuit of the device.
- MMA VRD DC- - available in MMA DC mode- VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) function works in the same way as MMA VRD DC +, the difference is negative polarity.
PANEL FUNCTIONS:
- HOT START - a function that increases the current when the welding arc strikes, making it easier to start welding.
- ARC FORCE - short-circuit current control - makes the shortening of the arc length accompanied by an increase in the welding current, which stabilizes the arc regardless of length fluctuations.
- HF - the device is equipped with an ionizer, which allows for contactless inspection of the welding arc.
- PRE and POST GAS - gas flow before and after welding.
- UP and DOWN SLOPE - rising and falling welding current.
- PULSE - pulse welding mode.
- VRD - Voltage Reduction Device - reduces the idle voltage of the secondary circuit of the device. Increases safety and reduces the risk of electric shock.
- PFC - Power Factor Correction - increasing the power factor to a value as close as possible to 100% in order to reduce power losses in transmission lines.
- 2-TAKT and 4-TAKT,
- HF non-contact ignition and LIFT rubbing,
- possibility of connecting a remote control - a control pedal, a handle with a potentiometer,
- double-action ADJUST knob (coarse and fine adjustment),
- and others, described in the manual.
