IGBT TECHNOLOGY
Modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an insulated gate. It combines the ease of control of field effect transistors with a high breakdown voltage and the switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology significantly extends the reliable operation of welding equipment.
LEVEL OF SECURITY
IP defines the degree to which the device is resistant to the ingress of solid and water contaminants. IP21 means that the device is adapted to work in closed rooms.
MMA
A covered electrode method consisting of a metal core covered with a sheath. The welder feeds the electrode as it fuses to the workpiece so as to maintain the arc of a constant length. The device allows welding with all types of electrodes, e.g. basic, cellulose, rutile or acid.
VRD
VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) function available in MMA mode. Increases safety and reduces the risk of electric shock.
ARC FORCE
Arc stabilization function by maintaining the voltage value of the welding arc regardless of its length and facilitating control of the amount of spatter.
HOT START
When the arc is struck, the welding current is temporarily increased in order to heat the material and the electrode at the point of contact and to properly shape the penetration and the weld face in the initial stage of welding.
DEVICE ALLOWED TO USE METHODS:
- TIG DC lift-arc - In the TIG lift-arc mode, the arc is ignited when the electrode comes into contact with the workpiece. In TIG DC mode, the current is constant.
- TIG DC HF - To completely eliminate the possibility of contamination of the weld with tungsten.
- TIG DC PULS lift-arc - the arc is struck by contact of the electrode with the material to be welded, the pulse function allows you to weld thin elements by periodically changing the current intensity.
- TIG DC PULS HF - non-contact HF ignition using an ionizer in the TIG DC PULS mode.
- TIG AC lift-arc - a function that allows aluminum to be welded through the use of alternating current, which performs the cathodic cleaning function when welding aluminum.
- TIG AC HF - an analogous function enabling aluminum welding with alternating current, ignition is made contactless by the high-frequency current generated by the ionizer.
- TIG AC PULS lift-arc - welding in this mode is a combination of alternating current and pulse, which enables welding of very thin aluminum elements.
- TIG AC PULS HF - a function that enables welding of thin-thickness elements made of aluminum. Non-contact ignition thanks to the use of an ionizer.
- TIG AC + DC - Welding with mixed current is especially useful when joining elements of different thickness. It also reduces noise emissions compared to AC welding.
- PLASMA CUT - a function that enables the cutting of electrically conductive elements made of carbon and alloy steels, aluminum and its alloys, brass, copper and cast iron
- MMA DC + - The arc is struck by touching the tip of the electrode to the workpiece. MMA DC + means welding with positive polarity - more heat is generated in the material and less heat is generated in the electrode.
- MMA DC- - the difference between MMA DC + is that the polarity in the MMA DC - mode is negative, so the heat distribution is opposite - more heat is released on the electrode and less in the welded material.
- MMA VRD DC + - The function turns the welding power off and on when the resistance between the electrode tips - welded element is measured during welding.
- MMA VRD DC- - available in MMA DC mode- VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) function works in the same way as MMA VRD DC +, the difference is negative polarity.
PANEL FUNCTIONS:
User programmed factory settings for aluminum and steel welding (60 memory channels). Selectable waveform:
- ADVANCED SQUARE - rectangular waveform of alternating current allows welding aluminum with the addition of magnesium
- SOFT SQUARE - a trapezoidal AC waveform is used for welding aluminum with silicon
- TRIANGULAR - setting the triangular current waveform is optimal for welding thin elements, including anodized aluminum
- SINE - sinusoidal waveform is recommended for welding 99.999% pure aluminum.
HF - the device is equipped with an ionizer, which allows for contactless inspection of the welding arc.
STANDARD AC / DC - the pulsating current function, is mainly used when welding thin elements (even 0.1 mm thick), metals with a low melting point, e.g. lead, or welding in forced positions.
Other advantages of pulsed welding are a smaller heat-affected zone, greater stability of the welding arc, and greater fusion depth and improved appearance of the weld face.
ADVANCED AC - welding with mixed current AC DC-. In a single cycle, there is a transition between AC and DC with negative polarity DC (-). This cycle is repeated throughout the welding process.
Welding with mixed current is especially useful when joining elements of different thickness. It also reduces noise emissions compared to AC welding.
2T / 4T
2T - Pressing the gun trigger button will cause gas to pre-flow, then strike the arc and start welding. When the button is released, the arc will be extinguished and gas will flow out.
4T - Pressing and releasing the welding gun button will pre-flow gas, then strike the arc and start welding. When the button is pressed and released again, the arc will be extinguished and gas will flow out.
PRE GAS
Adjustment of the shielding gas flow time before welding.
POST GAS
Post-welding shielding gas flow time adjustment.
RISE TIME
Time in which the welding current rises from the starting current to the set welding current value.
DOWN SLOPE TIME
Time for the downslope of the welding current from the set value to zero or the value of the crater current.
INSULATION CLASS F
The type of insulation materials used, informing about the maximum operating temperature of the transformer. If it is exceeded in continuous operation, it shortens the life and failure-free operation time of the transformer. For class F 155 ° C.
COOLING
The device has a fan cooling system, which significantly increases its efficiency.
