IGBT TECHNOLOGY
Modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an insulated gate. It combines the ease of control of field effect transistors with the high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of the IGBT technology significantly extends the reliable operation of welding equipment.
PROTECTION LEVEL
IP defines the degree to which the device is resistant to the penetration of solid and water contaminants. IP21means that the device is adapted to work in closed rooms.
MMA
A method that uses a coated electrode consisting of a metal core covered with a coating. The welder feeds the electrode as it melts into the workpiece so as to maintain a constant arc length. The device enables welding with all types of electrodes, e.g. basic, cellulose, rutile or acidic.
VRD
VRD function available in MMA mode (Voltage Reduction Device - a module that reduces the idle voltage of the device's secondary circuit). Increases safety and reduces the risk of electric shock.
ARC FORCE
Arc stabilization function by maintaining the voltage of the welding arc regardless of its length and facilitating control over the amount of spatter.
HOT START
At the moment of ignition of the arc, the welding current is temporarily increased in order to heat the material and the electrode at the point of contact and to properly shape the penetration and weld bead in the initial welding phase.
MMA DC+
The arc is struck by touching the tip of the electrode to the workpiece. MMA DC+ means welding with positive polarity - more heat is generated in the material and less in the electrode.
MMA DC-
The difference between MMA DC+ is that the polarity in the MMA DC - mode is negative, so the heat distribution is reversed - more heat is emitted at the electrode and less in the welded material.
MMA VRD DC+
Increases safety and reduces the risk of electric shock. The function switches the welding power supply off and on when the resistance between the electrode tips and the welded element is measured during welding.
MMA VRD DC-
The VRD (Voltage Reduction Device) function available in the MMA DC- mode works in the same way as the MMA VRD DC+, the difference is in the negative polarity .
TIG AUTO
Synergy settings. In the AUTO mode, the user selects the basic welding parameters, such as the type of material and the thickness of the material to be welded. The remaining parameters are selected automatically by the device using the database of loaded programs.
TIG DC LIFT-ARC
In TIG lift-arc mode, the arc is ignited when the electrode contacts the workpiece. In TIG DC mode, the current is constant.
TIG DC PULS HF
Contact ignition HF with an ionizer in the TIG DC PULS mode.
TIG DC HF
To completely eliminate the possibility of tungsten contamination of the weld, it is recommended that the electrode does not touch the workpiece; for this purpose, contactless arc ignition is used, using high-frequency discharges generated by the ionizer built into the device.
TIG DC PULS LIFT-ARC
Arc ignition takes place through contact of the electrode with the welded material, the pulse function allows you to weld thin elements through periodic changes in current intensity.
2T/4T
2T - Pressing the welding gun button will pre-flow the gas, then ignite the arc and start welding. After releasing the button, the arc will be extinguished and the gas will flow out.
4T - Pressing and releasing the welding torch button will pre-flow the gas, then ignite the arc and start welding. After pressing and releasing the button again, the arc will be extinguished and the gas will flow.
PULSE FREQUENCY
Frequency at which the value of the current pulse changes between the welding current and the base current.
RISE TIME
Welding current rise time from the initial current to the set value of the welding current.
DOWN SLOPE .
Welding current downslope time from set value to zero or crater current value.
PRE GAS
Adjustment of shielding gas flow time before welding.
POST GAS
Adjustment of post-weld shielding gas flow time.
COOLING
The device has a cooling system fan which significantly increases its efficiency.
