✅ Product description
The cylinder contains 8 liters / approx. 1.5 m3 of high-quality argon and carbon dioxide mixture at a working pressure of 150 bar. The protective cap safeguards the valve from damage during transport or storage.
Both the cylinder and the valve are manufactured in accordance with EN 1964:1999, bear the PI mark, and meet ADR/RID transport regulations. The gas mixture is recommended for MIG/MAG welding of stainless and acid-resistant steel.
✅ Why use 98% Argon / 2% CO₂?
This gas mixture is specifically tailored for MIG/MAG welding of stainless steel. The 98% argon ensures a stable arc and smooth weld appearance, while the 2% CO₂ content improves arc ignition and slightly increases penetration without causing oxidation. This combination results in high-quality welds with minimal spatter and excellent corrosion resistance.
