SPARTUS® ProTIG 321P DC is a modern inverter welder, for the production of which the latest PWM pulse width modulation technology with an IGBT transistor power module was used.

It enables TIG DC and MMA DC welding with current up to 320A. It is powered from a 400V three-phase network.

SPARTUS® ProTIG 321P DC is operated using a modern LCD display. This not only facilitates control, but thanks to the fact that parameters can be adjusted continuously and steplessly, it allows for precise setting and control of advanced functions.

Thanks to the TIG Pulse option, the device is perfect for welding very thin sheets. ProTIG 321P DC has 10 memory channels. The user can easily save and recall the most frequently used settings.

Modern design, LCD function panel and the possibility of wireless control combined with high-end components distinguish the ProTIG 321P DC device on the market.

IGBT TECHNOLOGY

Modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an insulated gate. It combines the ease of control of field effect transistors with the high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology significantly extends the reliable operation of welding equipment.

LEVEL OF SECURITY

IP defines the degree to which the device is resistant to the penetration of solid and water contaminants. IP21S means that the device is suitable for indoor use and is not suitable for use in rain and snow.

MMA

A method that uses a coated electrode, consisting of a metal core covered with a sheath. The welder feeds the electrode as it melts into the workpiece so as to maintain a constant arc length. The device enables welding with all types of electrodes, e.g. basic, cellulose, rutile or acidic.

ARC FORCE

Arc stabilizing function by maintaining the value of the welding arc voltage regardless of its length and facilitating the control of the amount of spatter.

HOT START

When the arc is struck, the welding current is temporarily increased in order to heat the material and the electrode at the point of contact and to properly shape the penetration and weld face in the initial phase of welding

PULSE TIG

The function affects the shape of the weld and the focus of the arc. Pulse welding also allows you to reduce the amount of heat supplied to the material and is used when welding thin materials.

TIG PULSE

Pulse welding is a variant of TIG spot welding that allows joining thin elements, thanks to very low heat emission in the joining zone. It consists in cyclic short-term ignition and extinction of the arc.

HF - NON-CONTACT ARC STARTING

The device is equipped with an ionizer enabling contactless arc ignition.

GAS PRE-FLOW TIME

Time from pressing the button in the handle of the torch and opening the gas valve until the arc is ignited. Normally it should be longer than 0.5s to supply shielding gas to the torch nozzle outlet to shield the welding start and tungsten electrode.

GAS POST FLOW TIME

Time from extinguishing the arc to closing the gas valve to shield the solidifying weld pool from air and to cool the tungsten electrode. Too short post-flow time may result in oxidation of the weld. When welding in TIG AC (alternating current) mode, this time should be longer.

RISE TIME

Welding current rise time from the initial current to the set welding current value.

DOWNDOWN TIME

The time for the welding current to fall from the set value to zero or the value of the crater current.

PULSE WIDTH

The duration of the pulse allows you to adjust the penetration depth. Increasing the width increases the depth of penetration, reducing the amount of heat introduced into the material, reducing the risk of burning through thinner sheets or smaller components.

PULSE FREQUENCY

The frequency at which the current pulse value changes between the welding current and the base current.

2T / 4T WORKING MODE

2T - pressing the button in the handle of the handle turns on the ionizer and ignites the arc. Welding is carried out with the button pressed.

4T - pressing the button in the handle of the handle will turn on the ionizer and ignite the arc, then release the button and weld with the released button. Pressing the button again will end welding

INSULATION CLASS H

Type of insulating materials used, informing about the maximum operating temperature of the transformer. Exceeding it during continuous operation shortens the lifetime and time of failure-free operation of the transformer. For class H 180°C.
