IGBT TECHNOLOGY

Modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an insulated gate. It combines the ease of control of field effect transistors with a high breakdown voltage and the switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology significantly extends the reliable operation of welding equipment.

LEVEL OF SECURITY

The IP defines the degree to which the device is resistant to the ingress of solid and water contaminants. IP21 means that the device is adapted to work in closed rooms.

PROTECTION AGAINST OVERHEATING

The IGBT module is protected against overheating by a protective system that switches off the machine's welding circuit. After a few minutes, the welding machine cools down to a temperature that allows it to be switched on again automatically.

WORK CYCLE

The duty cycle is based on a 10-minute period. Duty cycle of 40% means that after 4 minutes of operation, a 6-minute break is required. Duty cycle of 100% means that the device can work continuously without interruption.

MMA

A covered electrode method consisting of a metal core covered with a sheath. The device allows welding with all types of electrodes, e.g. basic, cellulose, rutile or acid.

ARC FORCE

Increasing or decreasing the length of the welding arc depending on the distance between the electrode and the material to be welded. It allows you to adjust the dynamics of the welding arc. Shortening the arc length is accompanied by an increase in the welding current, which stabilizes the arc.

HOT START

The purpose of this function is to prevent the electrode from sticking to the material and is a great help when striking the arc. It works when the arc is struck, causing the welding current to temporarily increase above the value set by the welder.

REVERSING POLARITY - WELDING WITHOUT GAS

Thanks to the variable polarity, it is possible to weld with the FLUX method with flux-cored wire without shielding gas. The wire is filled with a flux that produces protective gases during welding.

TIG LIFT WELDING

For welding with this method it is necessary to use an additional TIG torch. A gas cooled torch with a current carrying capacity appropriate to the device, with a shielding gas control valve, is required.

The TIG LIFT torch is an additional option that can be purchased at our other auctions.

SYNERGY

Welding with the MIG / MAG method using synergic settings. The device selects welding parameters depending on the selected type and thickness of the material. These parameters can be changed by the user in order to adjust the settings to their own needs.

REGULATION OF INDUCTION

It enables optimization of the arc characteristics depending on the thickness of the welded element as well as the welding method and conditions. This function is useful during MIG / MAG welding of thin elements, preventing them from burning out and brazing galvanized elements.

2T / 4T

2T - Pressing the welding gun button will cause gas to pre-flow, then ignition the arc and start welding. When the button is released, the arc will be extinguished and gas will flow out.

4T - Pressing and releasing the welding gun button will pre-flow gas, then strike the arc and start welding. When the button is pressed and released again, the arc will be extinguished and gas will flow out.

2 ROLL WIRE FEED

Professional feeder made of die-cast aluminum, has a powerful motor that allows for stable wire feeding without jamming. It is equipped with 2 drive rollers.

BURN BACK

Precise regulation of the burn-back time of the end of the welding wire eliminates the risk of the welding wire sticking to the contact tip.

SLOW FEED

It is a function of the so-called soft start-up of the wire feeder, especially recommended for welding with high currents and high wire feed speeds.

EASY TO USE, CLEAR CONTROL PANEL:

The easy-to-use control panel enables precise and smooth adjustment of parameters. The digital display shows the actual current during welding. The semi-automatic welding machine has a menu that facilitates operation and allows you to choose the type of material to be welded.

PRE GAS

Adjustment of the shielding gas flow time before welding.

POST GAS

Post-welding shielding gas flow time adjustment.

TIG AC / DC

TIG welding with alternating current. It is required for welding aluminum and its alloys.

TIG PULSE

The function affects the weld shape and arc focus. Pulse welding also allows you to reduce the amount of heat supplied to the material and is used when welding thin materials.

HF - NON-CONTACT ARC IGNITION

The device is equipped with an ionizer enabling contactless ignition of the arc.

RISE OF CURRENT

Time in which the welding current rises from the starting current to the set welding current value.

CURRENT DROP

Time for the downslope of the welding current from the set value to zero or the value of the crater current.

FREQUENCY AC

Useful when welding aluminum. The higher the frequency, the better the quality of the weld and the better the focus of the arc

AC BALANCE

The ratio of the duration of the positive phase to the negative phase. Decreasing the balance introduces more heat into the material, resulting in a narrower weld and deeper penetration, while reducing the heat load on the tungsten electrode.

Increasing the balance introduces less heat into the material, resulting in better cleaning, a wide weld and shallower fusion, however, significantly stresses the tungsten electrode.

CHOICE OF THE AC WAVE SHAPE

  • Sine wave - Classic wave, similar to transformer welders, preferred by older welders.
  • Square Wave - Universal, most commonly used wave shape for welding any material. Generates more heat in the weld zone, greater penetration than other shapes.
  • Triangular wave - Especially preferred when welding thin materials.

FREQUENCY PULSE

The frequency with which the current pulse value changes between the welding current and the base current.

PULSE WIDTH

Duration of the pulse allows you to adjust the depth of penetration. Increasing the width increases the penetration depth, reducing the amount of heat introduced into the material, reducing the risk of burning through thinner sheets or smaller components.

BASE CURRENT

The current responsible for maintaining the welding process, the lower value of the current pulse. It facilitates the control of the amount of heat introduced into the material. Base current can only be adjusted during pulse welding.

TIG IMPULSE

Pulse welding is a type of TIG spot welding that enables the welding of thin elements thanks to very low heat emission in the joining zone. It consists in cyclic short-term ignition and extinction of the arc.

SPOT

TIG spot welding consisting in joining thin elements, thanks to very low heat emission in the joining zone. It consists in cyclic short-term ignition and extinction of the arc.

INSULATION CLASS F

Type of insulation materials used, informing about the maximum operating temperature of the transformer. If it is exceeded in continuous operation, it shortens the life and failure-free operation time of the transformer. For class F 155 ° C.

STRONG AND ROBUST CONSTRUCTION

The device casing is made of light and durable composites, resistant to all kinds of mechanical damage.

EASY TRANSPORT

Equipping the welder with two transport handles ensures convenience when changing jobs.
