SPARTUS® Easy TIG 208P AC / DC are modern, digitally controlled inverter welding machines, constructed on the basis of IGBT transistors and PWM technology .

It is a device designed and manufactured with the field operation in mind. Small, light and versatile. Perfect for welding stainless and acid-resistant steels and aluminum .

The built-in welding function with adjustable pulse allows you to join even very thin elements . The easy-to-use and intuitive function panel allows for precise control of all the most important welding parameters for TIG and MMA methods .

The welder is equipped with a number of modern technologies , supporting the operator's work, stabilizing the output parameters and protecting the welder against damage.

They include, but are not limited to:

  • MCU control system - reacts immediately to any changes.
  • Intelligent protection system for the welding machine against overvoltage and overheating.
  • HF contactless arc ignition system - simple and non-contact arc initiation in the TIG method.
  • Digital control panel - easy operation and setting the appropriate welding parameters.

IGBT TECHNOLOGY

The basis for the construction of the electric energy conversion system of the welding machine are electronic systems made in the IGBT technology, enabling operation in the frequency range above 200 kHz.

The welder is equipped with a supply voltage compensation system, which enables their operation with voltage fluctuations in the supply network up to 10%.

LEVEL OF SECURITY

The IP determines the degree to which the device is resistant to solid and water contamination entering the device. IP23 means that the device is adapted to work in closed rooms and is not suitable for use in the rain.

WORK CYCLE

The duty cycle is based on a 10-minute period. Duty cycle of 40% means that after 4 minutes of operation, a 6-minute break is required. Duty cycle of 100% means that the device can work continuously without interruption.

MMA WELDING

The SPARTUS® Easy TIG 208P AC / DC device enables welding with a coated electrode.

ARC FORCE FUNCTION (MMA )

It allows you to adjust the dynamics of the welding arc. Shortening the arc length is accompanied by an increase in the welding current, which stabilizes the arc.

Decreasing the value gives a soft arc and a smaller fusion depth, while increasing the value causes deeper penetration and the possibility of short arc welding.

With a high value of the ARC FORCE function, it is possible to weld with the minimum arc length and high electrode melting speed.

HOT START FUNCTION

It is popularly called a hot start. It works when the arc is struck, causing the welding current to temporarily increase above the value set by the welder.

The purpose of this function is to prevent the electrode from sticking to the material and is a great help when striking the arc. When welding small parts, it is recommended to disable this function, as it may cause burnout of the workpiece.

TIG AC / DC

Enables TIG welding with alternating current. It is required for welding aluminum and its alloys. MMA - a function that enables MMA welding, i.e. welding with a coated electrode. This increases the possibilities and versatility of the device

GAS PREFLOW TIME 0 - 2s.

The time from pressing the button in the handle of the handle and opening the gas valve until the arc is struck. Typically, it should be longer than 0.5 seconds to supply shielding gas to the exit of the torch nozzle to shield the welding start and the tungsten electrode.

GAS FLOW TIME 0 - 10s

The time from extinguishing the arc to closing the gas valve to shield the solidifying weld pool from air and to cool the tungsten electrode. Too short a post-flow time may result in oxidation of the weld. When welding in TIG AC mode (alternating current), this time should be longer.

CURRENT RISE TIME 0 - 10s

The time taken for the welding current to rise from the starting current to the set welding current value.

DOWN SLOPE 0 - 10s.

The time taken for the welding current to fall from the set value to zero or the value of the crater current.

TIG PULSE

The function affects the shape of the weld and the focus of the arc. Pulse welding also allows you to reduce the amount of heat supplied to the material and is used when welding thin materials.

PULSE FREQUENCY 0.5 - 200Hz

The frequency with which the current pulse value changes between the welding current and the base current.

CURRENT FREQUENCY AC 60Hz

Useful when welding aluminum. The higher the frequency, the better the quality of the weld and the better the focus of the arc.

AC BALANCE 10 - 99%

The ratio of the duration of the positive phase to the negative phase. Decreasing the balance introduces more heat into the material, resulting in a narrower weld and deeper penetration, while reducing the heat load on the tungsten electrode.

Increasing the balance introduces less heat into the material, resulting in better cleaning, a wide weld and shallower fusion, however, significantly stresses the tungsten electrode.

RECTANGULAR WAVE

The universal, most commonly used waveform for welding any material. Generates more heat in the weld zone, greater penetration than other shapes.

TIG IMPULSE

Pulse welding is a type of TIG spot welding that enables the welding of thin elements thanks to very low heat emission in the joining zone. It consists in cyclic short-term ignition and extinction of the arc.

2T / 4T OPERATING MODE

  • 2T - Double-action mode - pressing the button in the handle of the handle turns on the ionizer and ignites the arc. Welding is carried out with the button pressed.
  • 4T - Quadruple mode - pressing the button in the handle of the handle will turn on the ionizer and ignition of the arc, then release the button and start welding with the released button. Pressing the button again will stop welding
