Description
SHERMAN PROFI V6b WELDING HELMET
| Brand: Sherman| Filter class: 1/1/1/1 | Shade range: DIN 5 - 13 | Number of sensors: 4 | Field of view: 100x97mm | Grinding: YES |
The Sherman-profi V6b automatic welding helmet is designed to protect the eyes and face against sparks, spatter and harmful radiation during electric welding, brazing, soldering and grinding.
Automatic blackout filter automatically changes from light to dark when the arc is struck, and becomes light again after welding. The shade filter has the highest optical class 1/1/1/1, ensuring full safety of the welder. The use of TRUE COLOR full color mapping technology ensures high comfort of work.
The V6a helmet has three external knobs that allow you to adjust the shade level from 5 to 13 according to DIN, smooth adjustment of the sensitivity of the photosensors' reaction to the intensity of the arc during welding and smooth adjustment of the dark/light switching delay time.
It is also possible to select a grinding mode in which the shade filter switches to a light state with no shade adjustment option
Four photo sensors guarantee the helmet to work properly in all conditions and positions, which is especially important when welding with low currents.< /p>
Sherman-profi V6b provides complete protection of the eyes and face against ultraviolet and infrared radiation. The level of UV/IR protection is 16 (DIN), even when the filter becomes light.
The helmet is ready for immediate use, it only needs to be adjusted to the size of the welder's head and the selection and setting of the appropriate operating parameters.< /p>

TEST
The "Test" button is used to check the correct operation of the filter. Select any shade level from 0 - 13 and press the button. The filter will go to the dark state. When the button is released, the filter will brighten. If the filter does not darken after pressing the button, please contact the service.
DELAY ADJUSTMENT
The knob is used to adjust the delay of switching the filter from dark to light after welding. A short delay time is recommended for short welds and spot welding. A long delay time works well when welding with high currents.
SENSITIVITY ADJUSTMENT
Sensitivity adjustment is done with a knob. The sensitivity setting depends on the process being performed, lighting and other environmental conditions.
Usually lowsensitivity works well when welding with high currents and in conditions of intense natural light. High sensitivity is recommended when welding with low currents in low light conditions.
TRUE COLOR
A useful feature that allows the welder to see true colors while welding, has a sharper image and better visibility.
BLACKOUT
Smooth shading adjustment controllable from the panel on the left side of the visor.
ADJUSTMENT OF THE HEADER
The Sherman-profi V6a automatic welding helmet is equipped with a special, ergonomic tilting system that changes its center of gravity relative to the welder's head. The visor straps should be adjusted so that it is as low as possible on the head and as close to the face as possible.
- Adjustable seat depth on the head for proper balance and stability.
- Adjust the distance between the eyes and the helmet filter
- Headband adjustment
- Adjustment of the helmet's inclination angle.
BATTERY
Indication of low battery status When the diode lights up, it means that the battery needs to be replaced.
