IGBT TECHNOLOGY
Modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an insulated gate. It combines the ease of control of field effect transistors with the high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology significantly extends the reliable operation of welding equipment.
LEVEL OF SECURITY
IP defines the degree to which the device is resistant to the ingress of solid and water contaminants. IP21 means that the device is adapted to work in closed rooms.
OVERHEAT PROTECTION
The IGBT module is protected against overheating by a protective installation that disables the welding circuit of the device. After a few minutes, the welder cools down to a temperature that allows it to restart automatically.
WORK CYCLE
The duty cycle is based on a 10-minute period. A 45% duty cycle means that after 4.5 minutes of operation, a 5.5-minute break is required. 100% duty cycle means that the device can work continuously without interruption.
MMA
A method that uses a coated electrode, consisting of a metal core covered with a sheath. The device enables welding with all types of electrodes, e.g. basic, cellulose, rutile or acidic.
ARC FORCE
Increasing or decreasing the length of the welding arc depending on the distance between the electrode and the material being welded. Allows you to adjust the dynamics of the welding arc. Shortening the arc length is accompanied by an increase in the welding current, which stabilizes the arc.
VRD
VRD steps down the no-load voltage. The correct voltage value is only restored just before the arc is struck. This minimizes the risk of electric shock, but in some cases it may make it difficult to strike the arc.
HOT START
The function is designed to prevent the electrode from sticking to the material and is a great help when striking the arc. It works when the arc is struck, causing a temporary increase in the welding current above the value set by the welder.
CHANGE OF POLARITY - WELDING WITHOUT GAS
Thanks to the variable polarity, it is possible to weld using the FLUX method with flux-cored wire without shielding gas. The wire is filled with a flux that produces protective gases during welding.
SYNERGY
MIG/MAG welding with synergic settings. The device selects the welding parameters depending on the selected type and thickness of the material. These parameters can be changed by the user in order to adjust the settings to their own needs.
TIG LIFT WELDING
For welding with this method, it is necessary to use an additional TIG torch. A gas-cooled torch with a amperage rating appropriate for the machine and a shielding gas control valve is required.
The TIG LIFT holder is an additional option that can be purchased at our other auctions.
MIG/MAG
Arc welding in gas shields is one of the most commonly used processes for the production of welded structures. The semi-automatic welding process consists in fusing the edges of the workpiece and the material of the consumable electrode with the heat of the electric arc.
MIG/MAG welding in manual setting mode makes ProMIG 535DP a perfect device that will meet the expectations of even the most demanding user. An additional advantage is also the possibility of welding with the Spool Gun holder.
MIG PULSE
An advanced form of welding that uses the best forms of transfer of molten electrode material to the welded object. Unlike short-circuits, pulsed welding does not produce spatter or cold run-in.
Pulse welding positions are not limited as they are derived from globular or spray molds and their use is definitely more efficient. MIG PULSE is one of the best welding processes for a wide variety of applications and metal types.
DOUBLE PULSE FLASH
Welding with the MIG / MAG method with a double pulse, we obtain a high level of face appearance (scale effect). In addition, the use of automatic wire feeding affects the welding efficiency.
The double pulse MIG/MAG method allows you to adjust the current pulsation (pulse balance) and adjust the wire feed speed. Thanks to this, we improve the appearance of the weld.
SMOOTH ADJUSTMENT OF WIRE FEED
Smooth adjustment of the wire feed speed is supported by an additional potentiometer that allows you to set the speed for different diameters of wires.
PRE GAS
Adjustment of the shielding gas flow time before welding.
POST GAS
Adjustment of the shielding gas flow time after welding.
INDUCTION ADJUSTMENT
It enables optimization of the arc characteristics depending on the thickness of the welded element as well as the welding method and conditions. The function is useful during MIG/MAG welding of thin elements, preventing their burn-through and braze welding of galvanized elements.
2T/4T
2T - Pressing the welding torch button will pre-flow the gas, then ignite the arc and start welding. When the button is released, the arc will extinguish and the gas will flow.
4T - Pressing and releasing the welding torch button will pre-flow the gas, then ignite the arc and start welding. When the button is pressed and released again, the arc will be extinguished and the gas will flow.
S2T/S4T
S2T - two-stroke special - after pressing the button, the gas will flow out at the time set by the user and the welding arc will ignite. The arc voltage at start will be increased and will drop to the main welding current within the set time.
After releasing the button, the current will decrease to the final current value. Then the arc will extinguish and the shielding gas will flow out at the set time.
S4T - four-stroke special - after pressing and releasing the button, the gas will flow out at the time set by the user and the welding arc will ignite. The arc voltage at start will be increased and will drop to the main welding current within the set time.
After pressing and releasing the button again, the current will drop to the final current value. Then the arc will extinguish and the shielding gas will flow out at the set time.
4 ROLL WIRE FEEDER
External professional four-roller feeder ensures stable feeding of the welding wire. It has a powerful motor that allows for stable wire feeding without jamming.
It is designed for work with a heavy load and for handles with a longer length compared to plastic feeders that can not cope with 4 or 5 meter handles.
BRAZING
The device enables brazing, mainly used in the automotive industry to connect galvanized sheets together.
WELDING WITH A SPOOL GUN
The SPOOL GUN welding gun with a built-in wire feeder is used for MIG/MAG welding. It is mainly used in car workshops and for welding thin sheets.
PULSE FREQUENCY
The frequency at which the current pulse value changes between the welding current and the base current.
PULSE WIDTH
The duration of the pulse allows you to adjust the penetration depth. Increasing the width increases the depth of penetration, reducing the amount of heat introduced into the material, reducing the risk of burning through thinner sheets or smaller components.
SPOT
Spot welding. Pressing the welding torch button will pre-flow the gas and ignite the arc. After the time has elapsed, the arc will extinguish and the gas will flow out. Releasing the torch button early will extinguish the arc and gas post-flow immediately.
BURN BACK
Precise adjustment of the burnback time of the end of the welding wire eliminates the risk of the welding wire sticking to the contact tip.
COOLING
The device has a fan cooling system, which significantly increases its efficiency. In addition, the set is equipped with a cooler that is used to cool the MIG / MAG welding torch with liquid
EUROCONNECTOR
Standard welding torch connection that allows you to connect various types of torches (e.g. prepared for Aluminum welding or Brazing by replacing the Teflon insert and contact tip).
MEMORY OF SETTINGS
The device has a memory of settings, i.e. after turning it off and on again, you can return to the set parameters using programs.
STRONG AND SOLID CONSTRUCTION
The housing of the device is made of light and durable composites, resistant to all kinds of mechanical damage.
EASY TRANSPORT
Equipping the welding machine with a trolley system ensures comfort when changing workplaces.
