The ARC 200C inverter welder of the Sherman-profi series is a modern, fully professional device designed for companies with a high use of welding technologies.

IGBT TECHNOLOGY

Modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an insulated gate. It combines the ease of control of field effect transistors with a high breakdown voltage and the switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology significantly extends the reliable operation of welding equipment.

PROTECTION AGAINST OVERHEATING

The power source is equipped with a thermal automatic overload switch. When the temperature of the welding machine is too high, the protection disconnects the welding current and the overheating diode lights up. After the temperature has dropped, the switch will reset automatically.

WORK CYCLE

The duty cycle is based on a 10-minute period. 60% duty cycle means that after 6 minutes of operation, a 4-minute break is required. 100% duty cycle means that the device can work continuously without interruption.

VRD FUNCTION

Module reducing the idle voltage of the device's secondary circuit. Increases safety and reduces the risk of electric shock. The function turns the welding power off and on when the resistance between the electrode tips - welded element is measured during welding.

HOT START

Makes it easier to ignite the electrode by providing a higher welding current with each arc ignition.

ARC FORCE

Arc stabilization function by maintaining the voltage value of the welding arc regardless of its length and facilitating control of the amount of spatter.

TIG DC LIFT

Welding with a tungsten electrode in an inert gas shield using a handle with a gas valve in the handle.

The arc is struck by rubbing, similar to MMA ignition.

The use of this method enables the welding of all types of steel, i.e. carbon, alloy, stainless, acid-resistant steel, as well as copper alloys, e.g. bronze or brass.
