Description
The bottle contains 8l of Helium.
A protective cap protects the valve against damage in transit or during storage.
Pure or mixed with argon helium is used as shielding gas for MIG welding.
In comparison with argon, helium provides better penetration of the side wall and higher welding speed, because it produces an arc with greater energy.
Helium has many unique features:
- high ionization potential
- high thermal conductivity
- Inert nature provides benefits such as higher transfer speeds and better weld quality, which can translate into higher productivity and lower labor costs.
The cylinder and valve are made in accordance with EN 1964: 1999, and have the mark of compliance with the requirements of ADR / RID.
