ARMACK AMASAN CWK 250 g is a professional liquid flux, also known as soldering water, intended for soft soldering copper and copper alloys. It is ideal for roofing, sheet-metal, installation and repair work.
The preparation improves wetting of the surfaces to be joined and solder flow, making it easier to create even, durable joints. Unlike aggressive soldering acids, CWK flux was developed for delicate copper surfaces – it leaves no stains and does not damage copper, helping to preserve its natural resistance to corrosion.

The manufacturer recommends using CWK flux together with Sn97Cu3 (LC97) soft solder. This is a lead-free solder intended for making durable joints in copper and copper-alloy components.
Choosing the appropriate solder and preparing the surfaces correctly have a direct impact on the durability and quality of the joint.
✅ How to use CWK flux
Before soldering, the surface must be thoroughly cleaned of oil, dust and other contaminants.
Apply the flux in a thin, even layer using a brush for soldering preparations. The recommended overlap width, i.e. the solder joint width, is approximately 10–15 mm.
Then heat the component appropriately and feed in the solder. After soldering, remove flux residues with a damp cloth.
✅ For roofing soldering irons
Depending on the work being carried out, CWK can be used for soldering with soldering irons and roofing soldering irons with a copper tip, both hammer and pointed types.
Keeping the tip in good condition improves heat transfer and helps limit the formation of unwanted inclusions in the joint.
