ESAB Sentinel A70 Air PRO is a professional automatic welding helmet designed for welding, grinding and metalworking tasks. It features a large ADF, True Color technology, a flip-up welding module, digital controls, Bluetooth and integrated LED work lighting.

The Air PRO version is additionally designed for use with the ESAB EPR-X1.1 PAPR powered air-purifying respirator system.

✅ ADF with True Color technology

The automatic welding filter, with a viewing area of 123 × 75 mm, provides a wide view of the work area and weld pool. The DIN 3/5–13 shade range and precise adjustment allow the filter’s operation to be adapted to various welding methods and parameters.

OpTCS™ True Color technology provides more natural colour reproduction than traditional welding filters, making it easier to assess the weld and maintain orientation in the work area.

✅ Weld and grind without removing the helmet

The Flip-Up design allows the ADF to be raised for quickly switching to grinding or weld inspection. A clear face shield measuring 150 × 194 mm is located beneath the welding module.

The ADF module can also be completely removed during longer grinding and finishing tasks.

✅ Digital controls and Bluetooth

The helmet features a colour TFT display and an external digital control dial, allowing convenient adjustment of the filter parameters even while wearing welding gloves.

Bluetooth connectivity enables connection to the ESAB Helmet Connect app, which allows settings to be managed, work profiles to be saved and arc-on time to be monitored.

✅ LED lighting and HALO™ headgear

The integrated 50 lm LED work light improves visibility when preparing components, positioning the torch and inspecting the completed weld.

The adjustable HALO™ headgear helps distribute the helmet’s weight evenly and provides a stable fit during extended work.

✅ PAPR system connection

The Sentinel A70 Air PRO has air channels designed for use with the ESAB EPR-X1.1 PAPR system. Once a compatible powered air-purifying unit is connected, filtered air is supplied directly into the helmet.
