The ARMACK non-metallic cleaning pad is designed to prepare the surfaces of copper pipes and fittings before soft soldering or brazing. It removes oxides, rust and greasy contaminants, including oil and grease residues.
The non-metallic abrasive web cleans the surface without leaving deep scratches or burrs. Thorough removal of the oxide layer helps the flux to work effectively, allows the filler metal to wet the surface and ensures even filling of the capillary gap.
