POWER ARC 200 inverter welder for welding with coated electrodes with direct current (DC).
Designed for welding with rutile and basic electrodes up to 5 mm of various types of steel (low-carbon, low-alloy, stainless, etc.) and cast iron.
The LEDs on the front panel indicate the connection to the power supply (green LED), overload shutdown (yellow LED) or the activation of the VRD function (green LED).
Electronically controlled smooth regulation of the welding current in the range of 18-205A.
Overload protection.
The fan is started automatically only when the welding machine is overloaded.
On the front panel there is a switch for changing the welding method:
- MMA rutile or basic electrode
- MMA cellulose electrode
- TIG LIFT
THE WELDING MACHINE HAS FEATURES THAT EASE WELD:
- HOT START : increases the welding current when striking the arc to facilitate ignition of the electrode
- ARC FORCE : shortens the arc length while increasing the welding current, optimizing the transfer of the molten electrode drop to the welded material, preventing the arc extinction when the electrode comes into contact with the welded material
- ANTI STICK : limits the welding current by preventing the electrode from sticking to the welded material
The welder can weld using the TIG method after connecting the torch with a gas valve. Touch ignition of the welding arc as a result of the contact of the tungsten electrode with the material to be welded and then lifting it (TIG Lift).
The use of the MMA / TIG LIFT switch allows you to change the characteristics when striking the TIG arc and, as a consequence, it facilitates the ignition of the arc, increases the life of the tungsten electrode, reduces the frequency of sharpening and leads to a better weld.
The small and lightweight design makes the device suitable for repair work in workshop conditions as well as for field work.
Transport is facilitated by equipping the welding machine with a fixed transport handle.
