The multifunctional device Welder Fantasy TWINMIG2 is intended for manual arc welding in the method:
- GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding) - MIG/MAG
- self-shielded FCAW (no gas shield)
- With a covered electrode MMA (Manual Metal Arc Welding)
- TIG LIFT (arc ignition occurs when the electrode comes into contact with the welded element).
Semi-automatic welding device is the most modern welding device on the market, designed for welding materials such as: carbon steels, alloy steels (stainless, acid-resistant), as well as aluminum alloys. Properly selected welding inductance contributes to reducing the amount of spatter.
Intuitive, easy to use the control panel allows you to quickly set all the most important welding parameters. Thanks to synergic settings it is possible to automatically select welding parameters.
The device has smooth adjustment of voltage and intensity of welding current and is equipped with an overload thermal protection system protecting against excessive heating of integrated circuits.
For increased comfort and lower noise levels the fan turns on automatically instead of running continuously when the device is turned on.< /p>
The polarity reversal cable makes it possible to weld without shielding gas. Thanks to the IGBT transistors used, the device has an efficiency of 60% and is characterized by low weight and failure-free operation.

IGBT TECHNOLOGY
Modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an insulated gate. It combines the ease of control of field effect transistors with the high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology significantly extends the reliable operation of welding equipment.
OVERHEAT PROTECTION
The IGBT module is protected against overheating by a protective installation that turns off the welding circuit of the device. After a few minutes, the welder cools down to a temperature that allows it to restart automatically.
Do not disconnect the power during this time, as the continuously running fan cools the device's internal heatsinks to lower the temperature faster.
After reboot, remember to limit the welding parameters for continued continuous operation of the device.
WORK CYCLE
The duty cycle is based on a 10-minute period. Duty cycle 60% means that after 6 minutes of operation the device requires a 4-minute break. 100% duty cycle means that the device can work continuously without interruptions.
PROTECTION LEVEL
IP determines the extent to which the device is resistant to solid and water contamination. IP21S means that the device is adapted to work in closed rooms
MIG/MAG
Gas shielded arc welding is one of the most commonly used processes for the production of welded structures. The semi-automatic welding process consists in fusing the edges of the welded object and the material of the consumable electrode with the heat of an electric arc glowing between the electrode in the form of a solid wire and the welded detail, in an inert or active gas shield.
FCAW - WELDING WITHOUT GAS
Thanks to the polarity change function, it is possible to weld without shielding gas, with self-shielding wire FCAW. It is a method using a self-shielding cored wire for welding (in all positions) steels with normal and increased strength, not exceeding 510 MPa.
MMA DC+
The arc is struck by touching the tip of the electrode to the workpiece. MMA DC+ means welding with positive polarity - more heat is generated in the material and less in the electrode.
MMA DC
The difference between MMA DC+ is that the polarity in the MMA DC - mode is negative, so the heat distribution is reversed - more heat is emitted at the electrode and less in the welded material.
ARC FORCE
Increasing or decreasing the length of the welding arc depending on the distance of the electrode from the material being welded. Allows you to adjust the dynamics of the welding arc. Shortening the length of the arc is accompanied by an increase in the welding current, which results in stabilization of the arc.
HOT START
This feature is designed to prevent stickyand the electrodes to the material and it is a great help when striking the arc. It works when the arc is struck, temporarily increasing the welding current above the value set by the welder.
VRD
VRD function drops the no-load voltage. The correct voltage value is only restored just before the arc is struck. This minimizes the risk of electric shock, however, in some cases it may make it difficult to strike the arc.
INDUCTION ADJUSTMENT
Inductance adjustment allows you to optimize the arc characteristics depending on the thickness of the welded element as well as the welding method and conditions. The function is useful during MIG/MAG welding of thin elements, preventing their burn-through, and during braze welding of galvanized elements.
Changing the value of the inductance also reduces the amount of welding spatter when welding in a CO2 shield. The higher the value of the inductance (+) the less spatter, when the value is negative (-), the greater the amount of spatter. The optimal setting of the inductance value depends on several factors and may differ from standard recommendations, so it should be selected experimentally during welding tests.
SYNERGY
MIG/MAG welding with synergic settings. The device selects welding parameters depending on the type and thickness of the material.
These parameters can be changed by the user to adjust the settings to their own needs. Many programs have been prepared for synergic welding.
2 ROLL WIRE FEEDER
Professional wire feeder made of die-cast aluminum, has a strong motor that allows stable wire feeding without jamming. It is equipped with 2 drive rollers.
2T/4T
2T - Pressing the welding gun button will pre-flow the gas, then ignite the arc and start welding. After releasing the button, the arc will be extinguished and the gas will flow out.
4T - Pressing and releasing the welding torch button will pre-flow the gas, then ignite the arc and start welding. After pressing and releasing the button again, the arc will be extinguished and the gas will flow.
EURO CONNECTOR
Standard welding torch connection that allows you to connect various types of torches (e.g. prepared for Aluminum welding by replacing the Teflon insert and contact tip).
EASY TO USE, CLEAR CONTROL PANEL:
Easy-to-use control panel enables precise and smooth adjustment of parameters. The digital display shows the actual welding current.
STRONG AND SOLID CONSTRUCTION
The housing of the device is made of light and durablecomposites, resistant to all kinds of mechanical damage.
EASY TRANSPORT
Equipping the welding machine with a transport handle ensuring comfort when changing workplaces.
TIG DC LIFT
Welding tungsten electrode in indifferent gas cover using a gas valve handle in the handle. Ignition of the arc is done by rubbing, similarly to ignition in the MMA method.
INSULATING CLASS F
Type of insulating materials used, informing about the maximum operating temperature of the transformer. Exceeding it during continuous operation shortens the lifetime and time of failure-free operation of the transformer. For Class F 155°C.
COOLING
The device has a cooling system fan which significantly increases itsperformance.
