The MIG 180 Easywork semi-automatic welder by Sherman is used for manual welding of steel and non-ferrous metals.
It allows welding using the following methods:
- MIG/MAG - gas-shielded welding wire
- MMA (covered electrode) - direct current (DC) covered electrode
- FLUX - gas-free welding wire shielding
Thanks to the change in polarity, the device allows welding using both standard wires in a shielding gas shield and self-shielding flux-cored wires.
The welding machine is made in IGBT inverter technology, which allowed for a significant reduction in its weight and dimensions.
The device can be used in closed or roofed rooms, not exposed to direct atmospheric conditions. It is intended mainly for amateur work and light occasional workshop work.

IGBT TECHNOLOGY
Modern technologyia based on bipolar transistors with an insulated gate. It combines the ease of control of field effect transistors with the high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology significantly extends the reliable operation of welding devices.
PROTECTION RATING
IP determines the degree to which the device is resistant to the ingress of solid and water contaminants. IP21 means that the device is suitable for use in closed rooms.
OVERHEATING PROTECTION
The power source is equipped with a thermal, automatic overload switch. When the temperature of the welding machine is too high, the protection will disconnect the welding current and the diode will light up to indicate overheating. After the temperature drops, the switch will automatically reset.
Do not disconnect the power supply at this time, as the continuously operating fan cools the internal radiators of the device in order to reduce the temperature faster. After restarting, remember to limit the welding parameters in order to continue continuous operation of the device.
MMA
A method that uses a coated electrode, consisting of a metal core covered with a coating. The device allows welding with all types of electrodes.
VRD
Reduces the voltage in a no-load state. The correct voltage value is restored only just before the arc is struck. This minimizes the risk of electric shock, but in some cases it may make it difficult to strike the arc.
DUTY CYCLE
The duty cycle is based on a 10-minute period. A duty cycle of 60% means that after 6 minutes of operation, a 4-minute break is required. A 100% duty cycle means that the device can operate continuously, without interruption.
POLARITY CHANGE - GAS-FREE WELDING
Thanks to the variable polarity, it is possible to weld using the FLUX method with flux-cored wire without shielding gas. The wire is filled with a flux that produces protective gases during welding.

The easy to use control panel allows precise and smooth adjustment of parameters. The digital LCD display shows the actual current during welding. The semi-automatic welding machine has a menu that makes it easy to use and allows you to select the type of material being welded.
SYNERGY
MIG/MAG welding using synergistic settings. The device selects welding parameters depending on the selected type and thickness of material.
These parameters can be changed by the user to adjust the settings to their own needs. Many programs have been prepared for synergistic welding.
