The automatic welding helmet Sherman-profi V5a is designed to protect the eyes and face against sparks, spatter and harmful radiation during electric and gas welding, braze welding, soldering, oxygen cutting and grinding.

The automatic darkening filter automatically changes from light to dark after the arc strikes, and becomes light again after welding.

The V5a helmet has two external knobs that allow you to adjust the shade level from 4 to 13 according to DIN and smooth adjustment of the sensitivity of photosensors reaction to the arc intensity during welding, as well as two external switches that allow for a three-position adjustment of the delay time for switching between dark / light and changing the operating mode. The blackout filter has the highest optical class, ensuring full safety of the welder. It is equipped with four photosensors, which is especially important when welding with low currents.

Thanks to the large 100 x 65mm visor, the V5a helmet has an exceptionally large field of view. In addition, it is possible to tilt the blackout filter completely, which significantly increases the viewing angle and is especially useful when performing precise operations or working in unfavorable lighting conditions.

The V5a helmet is equipped with an advanced, comfortable and ergonomic head harness , enabling a perfect fit and full adjustment of the helmet's position. A special tilting system changes the center of gravity of the helmet in relation to the welder's head.

After selecting the grinding function, the darkening filter switches to the bright state without the option of adjusting the shade.

On the internal control panel there is a Test button that allows you to check the battery charge and the correct operation of the darkening filter.
