Description

SHERMAN TIG 201 AC / DC INVERTER WELDING MACHINE

Brand: SHERMAN Welding methods: TIG AC / DC, MMA Power supply: 230V Welding current: 200A Efficiency: 60% |

STANDARD EQUIPMENT

  • Sherman TIG 201 AC / DC welder
  • Welding holder T-26 / 4m
  • Mass cable
  • Electrode cable
  • Manual in Polish
  • Consumable parts (plugs, nozzle, connector, bushings, electrode)

The TIG 201 AC / DC Sherman-workshop welding rectifier is an inverter device made in the MOSFET technology , for manual welding with direct and alternating current using the TIG method and with a coated electrode ( MMA method ) of constructional, quality steel and aluminum.

It is recommended in service and craft enterprises for workshop works and light, occasional production works. It is used in closed or roofed rooms, not exposed to direct weather conditions.

The device is equipped with contactless ionization ignition .

GAS PRE-FLOW TIME

The time from pressing the button in the handle of the handle to the moment the arc is struck. Typically it should be longer than 0.5 seconds to deliver shielding gas to the torch nozzle outlet. to cover the starting point of welding and the tungsten electrode. In the case of a longer gas supply line from the cylinder, the pre-flow time should be longer.

GAS FLOW TIME

The time from the extinction of the arc to the closing of the gas valve. to shield the solidifying weld pool from air and to cool the tungsten electrode. Too short a post-flow time may result in oxidation of the weld. When welding in TIG AC mode (alternating current), this time should be longer

DOWN TIME

Time for the welding current to fall from the set value to zero or the value of the crater current.

AC BALANCE

The ratio of the duration of the positive phase to the negative phase. Decreasing the balance introduces more heat into the material, resulting in a narrower weld and deeper penetration, while reducing the heat load on the tungsten electrode. Increasing the balance introduces less heat into the material, resulting in better cleaning, a wide weld seam and shallower melting, however, significantly stresses the tungsten electrode.

MOSFET TECHNOLOGY

The inverter device made in the MOSFET technology to a certain extent has a positive temperature coefficient, which means that the more heavily loaded (heated) transistor somehow limits the current itself. The use of MOSFET technology significantly extends the reliable operation of welding equipment.

Proven temperature-stable transistors reduce electromagnetic interference, which affects the ratio and minimizes power losses and increases the efficiency of the device.

PROTECTION AGAINST OVERHEATING

The overload switch is a built-in protection against overheating of the device, extending its life.

The basic element of the system protecting the electrical installation and the receivers connected to it. After a few minutes, the welding machine cools down to a temperature that allows it to be switched on again automatically.

WORK CYCLE

The duty cycle is based on a 10-minute period. 60% duty cycle means that after 6 minutes of operation of the device, a 4-minute break is required. 100% duty cycle means that the device can work continuously without interruption

REMOTE CONTROL

The device allows you to control the welding current using a wired foot control.

Wired foot pedal to control the welding current facilitates the operation of the device. It has two plugs (2-pin and 3-pin).

WARNING!

The control pedal is not a standard equipment of the device. Can be purchased at our other auctions or in sets.
