The POWERMAT PM-IMGT-250M semi-automatic welding machine has a very wide range of uses. It enables efficient welding of various types of material groups in a wide range of material thicknesses. The IGBT transistors used have a beneficial effect on lower electricity consumption, greater resistance to interference and voltage drops, and good arc characteristics.

The control panel is now even easier to use, and the operator has quick access to all functions. This has a positive impact on ergonomics and work efficiency in the plant.

The electronics of the device is based on IGBT transistors combining the advantages of two types of transistors: ease of control of field-effect transistors and high breakdown voltage as well as the switching speed of bipolar transistors. The welding current is very stable, which guarantees a perfect weld. Thanks to IGBT technology, the device is lighter and more economical in energy consumption.

ThePM-IMGT-250M model is a welding machine whose design is based on efficient IGBT transistors. It is equipped with two clear LCD displays showing the current welding current set using knobs, one of them is also a function selection button. Migomat is equipped with a cooling fan, electronic systems and other components, as well as a thermal sensor that protects the device against overheating.

IGBT TECHNOLOGY

Modern technology based on bipolar transistors with an insulated gate. It combines the ease of control of field-effect transistors with the high breakdown voltage and switching speed of bipolar transistors. The use of IGBT technology significantly extends the reliable operation of welding equipment.

PROTECTION DEGREE

IP determines the extent to which the device is resistant to the penetration of solid and water contaminants. IP21S means that the device is suitable for operation in closed rooms.

OVERHEAT PROTECTION

The IGB Tmodule is protected from overheating by a protective installation that turns off the device's welding circuit. After a few minutes, the welding machine cools down to a temperature that allows it to be switched on automatically again.

DUTY CYCLE

The duty cycle is based on a 10-minute period. A60%duty cycle means that after6 minutes of operation, a4-minute break is required. A duty cycle of 100% means that the device can work continuously, without interruption.

TIG LIFT WELDING

The device enables welding using the TIG method (argon shield), after connecting an additional TIG welding torch with a gas valve in the handle for theinverterwelding machine. The arc is ignited as a result of rubbing the electrode with the welded material.

MMA

A method that uses a coated electrode, consisting of a metal core covered with a coating. The device allows welding with all types of electrodes, e.g. basic, cellulose, rutile or acid.

MIG/MAG

Arc welding under gas shielding is one of the most widely used processes for producing welded structures.

CHANGE OF POLARITY - WELDING WITHOUT GAS

Thanks to variable polarity, it is possible to weld with the FLUX method with flux-cored wire without shielding gas. The wire is filled with flux that produces protective gases during welding.

EUROCONNECTOR

Standard connection for welding torches, which allows you to connect various types of torches (e.g. prepared for welding Aluminum by replacing the Teflon insert and contact tip).

CONTINUOUS ADJUSTMENT OF WIRE FEED

Smooth regulation of the wire feed speed is supported by an additional potentiometer allowing you to set the speed for different wire diameters.

HOT START

Popularly called hot start, it allows the welding current to be temporarily increased above the value set by the welder. HOT START works when the arc is struck and is intended to prevent the electrode from sticking to the material. It makes it much easier when igniting the electrode.

ANTI STICK

Cuts off/minimizes the welding voltage and current in the event of a short circuit between the electrode and the welded material. ANTI STICK allows the welder to remove the electrode more easily.

ARC FORCE

Stabilizes the bow regardless of its length. Decreasing the function values results in a soft arc and a smaller penetration depth, while increasing the function values results in deeper penetration and the possibility of short arc welding. With the highest value for the ARC FORCE function, it is possible to press the electrode into the pool of molten metal and burn the material nand through. This model has automatic ARC FORCE adjustment.

ARC VOLTAGE

Welding should be performed with a short arc (short arc). Too high an arc voltage causes a less stable arc, a lower short-circuit frequency and more spatter. At a constant welding current and a constant feed speed of the electrode wire, the voltage value affects the arc length and the shape of the weld.

Reducing the voltage shortens the welding arc, while increasing it causes the arc to lengthen. Conversely, changes in arc length are accompanied by changes in the welding arc voltage. Excessive elongation or shortening of the welding arc may cause unstable arc glow and the formation of welding defects in the weld.

2 ROLLER WIRE FEEDER

Professional feeder made of die-cast aluminum, has a powerful motor that allows for stable wire feeding without jamming. It is equipped with 2 drive rollers.

SYNERGY

MIG/MAG welding using synergic settings. The deviceselects welding parameters depending on the selected type and thickness of the material. These parameters can be changed by the user to adjust the settings to their own needs.

  • Synergic mode (CO2 0.8) - the function allows you to manually set welding parameters when welding in a carbon dioxide gas shield - FeC/Co2
